personality
biography Zero born along with his identical twin Ichiru and Kaito Takamiya, were all born into a Vampire Hunter's family. All of them were trained by Toa Yagari who frequently looked after them when Zero's parents were out. At one point, Yagari lost his eyes attempting to protect Zero from his teacher who turned wild and tried to attack Zero due to her Level E state. Making the Pureblood run, it was Zero's first lesson on the danger of innocent vampires. Yagari told Zero one day that he would never regret losing his eye to protect him and his brother, Ichiru. Four years ago, Zero and Ichiru came across Shizuka Hio sitting under a tree. Recognzing her as a vampire, told Ichiru to stay away from her. A few days later she attacked his family. She bit Zero and killed his parents. Zero believe that she had killed his brother as well, leaving him alone. After the attack occured, Zero was taken taken in by Kaien Cross and stayed in Cross Academy. Kaien introduced Zero to Yuki, who approached him cautiously yet still helped him althought he was hostile and cold towards her. Zero eventually grew feelings for Yuki but his feelings were kept to himself because of her extreme affection towards Kaname Kuran. He was not able to tell her he was going to turn into a vampire himself after Yuki explained to him she feared all vampires. The next four years, the two became closer but not on a level they could call each other friends.
